Kaliq launched Higher Learning Group in 2015. Through her firm, she chairs the Baltimore Student Diversity Leadership Conference and co-creates programs for Black Unicorn, a parent-child cultural studies initiative.
Kaliq works with a number of school and community partners including: Cambridge School (former board member), the Association of Independent Maryland/Washington D.C. Schools, Carney, Sandoe, and Associates, and Innterim Housing Corp. She has presented at the National Association of Independent Schools’ People of Color Conference on the topic, Data-Driven Diversity Work in Schools.
She also has run The Black College Tour and presented workshops on the enduring value of historically black colleges/universities.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her two children, Hunter and Hope. Her source of strength comes from God and the love of her husband, Joe.
